The importance of testing.

Benjamin Franklin famously said “by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail” and, although I wouldn’t put it in such drastic terms, he had a point.

I failed to test the new blog in Firefox to check for cross browser compatibility and there is quite a substantial theme issue probably caused by CSS or item placement within the page.

I will be working on this so apologise to any non-IE users in the meantime until I get this sorted. If anyone has any idea as to why it’s happening I’d appreciate the feedback, thanks.

UPDATE: the problem is fixed and seems to have been an issue inherited from an original WordPress base template. When I look at it the CSS was actually performing how it should have been but IE wasn’t (don’t get in to the whole browser war thing, please). I can now start to cross post a few recent items and will then redirect the RSS feed from the randomelements blog.
